Nainital Corbett Mussoorie Tours 2015


Nainital is a 100 year old hill station situated in a valley near Naini Lake - a blue green lake enclosed by mountains on all sides and has got its name after Goddess Naini. It is a gorgeous hill district cushioned in the lap of the Central Himalayas in the Kumaon region. It's delicate yet primeval glory is exhibited in the lofty snow-capped peaks, green valleys and serene lakes that have tempted lovers of beauty since time immemorial. Nainital also has a 100 year old Raj Bhawan Golf Course for the golf lovers.

Jim Corbett National Park has gained popularity due to the extensive work done by the famous conservationist and writer Jim Corbett. Established in 1936, the national park has been named after its founder, Jim Corbett. Once known as the Hailey National Park, this popular reserve has the distinction of being the first to be awarded the status and the title of national park. The park is an abode to 580 bird species, 50 mammalian species and 25 reptile species. Apart from a number of nocturnal and diurnal species, the park is also home to various species of deer and wild boars. However, centre of attraction of the park is its tiger population. At the park, tourists can view leopards, jungle cats and many other animals.

Situated in the foothills of the Himalayas, Mussoorie is a popular hill station in the state of Uttarakhand in northern India. Known as the ‘Queen of Hills’ the quaint town is located at an average altitude of 1,880 meters above sea level. Mussoorie is known for its scenic views, its lush green hills, amazing views of the Doon Valley and Shiwalik ranges on the south. Trekking is a major activity in this hill station and there are quite a few trails, which are ideal for nature walks and is one of the highlights of Mussoorie tourism. Tourists can enjoy horse riding or a leisurely walk across Camel’s Back Road and watch the sunrise from here. Tour Itinerary :

Day 1: Delhi to Nainital (320 kilometres | 8 hours)
Early morning depart for Nainital and your pick-up point will be Shivaji Stadium Metro Station, New Delhi. The route will take you through the cities of Ghaziabad, Moradabad and finally the picturesque town of Nainital. For lunch, you can choose from one of the numerous dhabas en route (directly payable by the customer). On arrival, check in to the hotel and spend evening at leisure. Later, enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Nainital
After breakfast, proceed for a local sightseeing tour in and around Naintal. There are many places of interest like the Naina Devi Temple, Lands’ End, Tiffin Top and the Zoo. One can also take the ropeway (directly payable by the customer) to the Snow View Point. Don't miss boating on the Naini Lake. Spend the evening at leisure and stay overnight at the hotel.

NOTE: - Few places especially on Mall road cannot be covered by Vehicle and guests have to visit some by themselves on foot.

Day 3: Nainital
Post breakfast spend the day by your own as the entire day is at leisure. You can choose to explore the Mall road, the thandi sadak and/or shop in the famous Bhutia market. Enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel.

NOTE: - Few places especially on Mall road cannot be covered by Vehicle and guest has to visit same on foot.

Day 5: Corbett
Post breakfast, you can choose to visit at jungle safari (directly payable at the hotel by customer) which provides shelter to a large variety of flora and fauna and is famous for being a home for the Royal Bengal Tiger. The park has the reputation of being the oldest national park in India. Spend evening at leisure and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Corbett to Mussoorie (320 kilometres | 8 hours)
Post early morning breakfast, depart for Mussoorie. The route will take you through the cities of Meerut, Muzaffarnagar and Dehradun. For lunch, you can choose to stop at one of the numerous dhabas enroute (directly payable by the customer). On arrival, check in to the hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: Mussoorie
Post breakfast, you can spend the day by doing local sighseeing of the places around Mussoorie. You can visit Kempty Falls, Camel Back Road, Lal Tibba and Gun Hill. One can also take the ropeway (directly payable by the customer) to the Snow View Point. Spend the evening at leisure and stay overnight at the hotel.
